Malik Abbas, Azam Gondal - very interesting characters! Irshad sahib, Nisar sahib - great - never beaten the pupils to have optional tuition but for the results only. Hats off to them. I remember one winter morning, Sir Irshad was not in a very good mood and beat the hell of the whole class when none could tell the meanings of the English word 'destroy'. I guessed and escaped the beats! He was a fan of my English handwriting! Sir Farooq, used to give marks on quantity of words written in an essay not on the quality! Great guy nevertheless. He taught us how to remember spellings of the English word 'carpenter'. He said break it down into three smaller words two of which were actual words and he made up the third one. Car + Pen + Terrrrrrr I am from a batch that cleared matriculation in 1984... did not do well in there but now a CEO of a global technology company in Europe. I am sure most others have done well in life.
